Ernesto Romero Elizalde is Of Counsel at Murillo Romero Abogados, S.C.

He holds a law degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. With over 25 years of experience as a legal head in multinational companies, he has worked with FedEx Express for Mexico, Central America, and the Andean countries, as well as Grupo Gillette and Unisys Mexico.

His expertise includes corporate, transactional, logistics and transport law (especially air and land), foreign trade, and regulatory compliance. Ernesto has actively participated in leading industrial associations, such as the Mexican National Association of Courier Companies (presided over for four consecutive years) and the Mexican Institute of Executives in Foreign Trade. Since May 2023, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Empresas ICA, S.A.B. (now INANIS Sociedad, S.A.B. de C.V.).
