Roberto Martínez is the Litigation Director at Murillo Romero Abogados, S.C., handling matters in fiscal, maritime, administrative, environmental, civil, commercial, arbitration, foreign trade, criminal, constitutional, and amparo law. He has represented clients across various economic, industrial, and commercial sectors, both nationally and internationally, in high-impact fiscal, financial, and economic litigation, maritime accidents including collisions, sinkings, groundings, oil spills, injuries, damages to port and maritime facilities, maritime casualty investigations, and claims and disputes related to chartering and reorganizing and bankruptcy of maritime companies.
Roberto has also advised clients on various contracts, audits, due diligence, high-level lobbying, and maritime operations including purchases, financing, construction, repairs, chartering, salvage, and removal.
He is a graduate of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), with diplomas in Mining & Law from the Mexican Mining Chamber, Criminology from Universidad Panamericana and Universidad La Salle, and Economic Governance of the State from Universidad Panamericana.
